Descended from a family of musical instrument makers, founder Eduard Seiler developed a piano line to meet high standards for professional performance while being priced within reach of the cultured German middle class. From its earliest models, the line was known for a distinctive sound described as “transparent”—a crystal clear take on the delicate tonal warmth of the European tradition.
